What are some easy guitar songs for beginners?

I have just started to play the guitar and I need some good easy songs that would help me get a good grasp on the guitar. Websites and Links would really help. Thank You!

As for easy songs, just try out Oasis songs. You can practise getting used to the basic chords in their songs before moving on.

   almost any green songs- great to play

   smoke on the water / deep purple
   or a little harder wild thing / the troggs
   and if you get the hang of them try Smells Like Teen Spirit / Nirvana

   But if you’ve been playing for less than 4 months, here’s what I have to say. Don’t spend your time trying to learn songs. Practice scales, chords, and notes. I know you’re probably anxious to start playing songs, I was too. If you spend a lot of time practicing these, you’ll be able to play songs in no time. When you’re ready, go to ultimate-guitar.com or 911tabs.com to learn some easy songs.

   bruce springsteen-glory days (riff) darkness on the edge of town (repitour)
   anything dave matthews is somewhat easy and includes no bar chords which are hard to play

   we’ll it all depends on what you like: Bryan Adams songs like; cuts like a knife and summer of 69 are great songs to begin with, when learning chords and strumming paterns.Songs like smoke on the water and a lot of green day songs are quite simple and sound impressive. good luck!
