Anyone can “know” a scale, but understanding the roots of the scale is absolutely critical and can really help you start to play out of your box a little.

People staring out. It’s easy to take for granted basic stuff like this when you have been playing for a while but there are plenty of people out there that don’t know this. This is a very quick lesson though. There are more insightful lessons on the web.

no…it just means …
no…it just means you arent gonna be able to right music…my dads friend from high school can play and song from listing to it on a record one time. When a new AC/DC album came out his friend could listen to one song play it that same time he first heard it. He could not read music or even tell you the first not in what he just played. Some of the most difficult songs he would figure out in a matter of like 5 or 6 times…he is amazing but he wont right his music down but he is still good
