Learn to Play Guitar Bottleneck Blues Series 3 Lesson 1C First Part
Welcome To Series 3 Lesson 1C First Part. In this installment, we will explore the idea of moving one pair of strings, Open D strings 2 and 1, to another location in Open G, strings 4 and 3. Both of these pairs of strings, have the same interval relationship of 5 over 1. The keys will sound different, but because they share the same string relationship, the musical ideas can be easily transfered. In addition, due to the different placement of the strings on the fingerboard, variations can be made using the adjacent strings.
